Kintamani is known for its views over Mount Batur and the lake that spreads out at its base. Along the way, you'll also find coffee plantations where you can stop for a tasting.
GOOD TO KNOW
01Go in the morning if you can, as clouds later in the day can limit the view of the volcano.
02Bring something warmer, as temperatures in the area are noticeably cooler than on the coast.
03For coffee or a meal with a view of Batur, it's worth stopping at Akasa Specialty Coffee or Lunamoon Coffee & Thai Kitchen. Both have panoramic views of the volcano.
